July 12-19, July 19-26, July 26-August 2, 2014
For over 40 years, Girls Camp has provided a fun-filled, supportive atmosphere where girls can be themselves, without the distractions of everyday life or a co-ed setting. Each week, close bonds form as Jays (grades 3~5), Doves (grades 6~8), and Hawks (grades 9~11) participate in skill-based activities such as canoeing, dance, pottery, and archery. Night swims, campouts, and special theme activities round out the week and add creative, fun elements. The highlight of the theme activities comes in the form of a theme dinner meal, where girls are encouraged to dress the part. This can range from a Hawaiian Luau to a Grand Banquet!
Most importantly, girls will hear from and interact with a chaplain, chosen for his ability to work with youth and encourage the hearts of young women. College-age counselors also participate in the learning process, helping campers see Gospel truths as they learn to live and grow within their cabin group of 6-8 girls.
Time is set aside for cabin and age groups to play games, cook over a campfire, and sleep under the stars. These activities are led by counselors trained to provide a Biblically safe place for girls to share and be themselves. The result: a week of intense fun and growth!
